Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier then 02nd January, 2001 and not later 1st January, 2004 are eligible.
The date of birth accepted the Commission is that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate, or in that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate. or in a Certificate recognized Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation, or in an extract from a Register. of Matriculates maintained, a University which must certified the proper authority of the University or in the Secondary School, Exacerbation or equivalent examination certificates. These certificates required tonne submitted only after the declaration of the result of the written part OD\f the examination. No document relating to age like horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporation. service records and the like will be accepted. The expression Matriculation/ Secondary School Examination Certificate in this part of the instruction included the alternative certificate mentioned above.

The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. THe e-Admit card will made available on the UPSC website (upsconline.nic.in) for downloaded by candidates. No Admit card will sent by post. All the application form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them.
PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWER:
Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Nagative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type uesion papers.
For both writing and marking answers in the OMR sheet (Answer sheet) candidates must use black ball pen only pens with any other color are prohibited. Do note use pencil or ink pen.
Candidates should note that any omission/mistake/discrepancy in encoding/filling of details in the OMR answer sheet especially with regard to Roll number and test booklet sires Code will render the answer sheet liable for rejection.Candidates are further advice to read carefully the “special instructions” contained in appendix-lll of the notice.
FACILITATION COUNTER FOR GUIDANCE OF CANDIDATES:
In case of any guidances/ information/clarification regarding their application,candidature etc. candidates can contact UPSC’s Facilitation Counter near gate ‘C’ of its campus in person or over Telephon No.011-23385271/011-23381125/011-23098543 on working days. between 10:00hrs.to 17:00hrs.
MOBILE PHONES BANNED:
(A) The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode).pager or any electronic equipment. or programmable device or storage media like pen drive,smart watches etc. or camera e tooth devices or any other Bluetooth device during the examination strictly. prohibited Any infringement. of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban during from future examinations.
(B) Candidates advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned item including during mobile phones or any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as arrangement for safe-keeping cannot be assure. Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
